Can be very critical at times but that makes you a better artist. Hes cheesy but cool. I really liked that throughout the semester he asked for feedback on his teaching.

He's a tough grader but you learn to push yourself in his studio. Design projects are cool. He helps you realize what you want to do with your design and offers some amazing suggestions. i'd like to take another of his classes.

Matt is a good teacher but the main problem is he is not an architect. If there are guidelines for the project he ignores them, and later on kills you over them. Always in the building but his work what he wanted utter screwed us for the final project. An *** in crits but a good guy in general

Whether you do a beautiful job or an ugly job he always just gives a B. So if you think you did extremely good and you're gonna get an A, you're probably not. Not helpful. He's boring. People never wanted to go to his class.

He needs to be more specific when he gives assignments, too many nights have I spent wondering what exactly he wants and how exactly he wants it done. Most descriptions are vague.
