Thinks he is the greatest. Irritating if you disagree. Pretends to be sympathetic but if you actually go to him with a problem he is not helpful or flexible. Fairly regular marker, but beware you don't share your politics with him. He's an oldschool Lib.

I haven't had Mendelsohn as a prof, but he lectured in my politics class at UofT. I knew a little about his work from course readings and articles he contributed to the Globe and Mail. He's an amazing speaker, but his good looks are very distracting.
