Mr. Kapell is one of those teachers that you won't forget. He doesn't have to ask the class for participation because the subjects are fun and can go many directions. he offended us, made us laugh, and made us work. some smarty pants said his essays were easy, but i also sat by peers in WAM working their butts off.

BY FAR THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE HAD IN COLLEGE HE ACUALLY TEACHES INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE YOU MEMORIZE. PUTS HIS LECTURE IN TERMS THAT WE ALL CAN UNDERSTAND AND MAKE SENSE OF TEST ARE HARD BUT IF YOU WENT TO CLASSES AND JUST LISTEN TO HIS LECTURES YOU WILL BE FINE AND THE LECTURES ARE WORTH WHILE TRUST ME !!!

Great teacher! Kapell is laid back, VERY knowledgeable and passionate about the course. He's helpful and you can expect a few good laughs when you come to class!! I wish he could teach some of the other courses I have to take.

I am taking this class this semester-Fall 2008. For a SATURDAY class, and coming from someone who works full time and is going to school full time, I actually look forward to going to this class. He makes the class enjoyable and make you want to learn. So far, so good.

You will either love or hate this guy...I LOVED him. He is brutally honest, witty, and has a cruel sense of humor..but he is extremely smart and funny at the same time. He is a cool guy! I hated American History with a cold passion before this class. He made it interesting and I have learned more in his class than I have in many at WSU.

Hes a nice guy, but yeah...offensive. He tries to tie in all his political feelings, which makes me mad...but other than that, hes not bad, and hes pretty easy. I'd take him again.
