Super sweet, caring professor. Gives a ton of work, but he's understanding and will provide good feedback. Don't be afraid to ask for an extension. I fudged up in his class all the time and he really works with you and wants you to succeed. Super cool, knowledgeable guy. Discusses a ton in class, but always wants to hear everyone's perspective

You'll love him. He's so friendly & so funny. He will help you with anything and having a conversation with him is so nice because its not always about class. He teaches you life lessons and how to write like a bad ass even when you sucked before. The readings are interesting and relevant. Come with something to say and you'll get more out of it

Literally, the best writing professor at Boston University. He has a 1 on 1 meeting with each student on each important paper after reading and revising your drafts. Has a great sense of humor, very lenient and wants you to succeed. Great guy, and the easiness rating is high simply because he will 100% help anyone with anything they need.

I love parfitt. He really helped me SO much...you really have to get to know him after class! He's really willing to talk about your grades and is extremely encouraging! Also, he's really great if you need to be absent..most teachers deduct your grades but he's very understanding if you need a day off. Fav. Professor for sure!

If you got Parfitt you got lucky. I thought he gave a lot of work, but he is the most helpful teacher you will ever have. He will help you every week. Talk to him about your paper ahead of time. Hes really deep and you will find yourself not being able to come up with deep enough answers and it being awkward! Good/Interesting teacher/person!!!
