Dr. Sheehan was an absolute delight compared to other professors I had in the semester. Goto class, study the handouts, do the assignments which take little time but also a bit of thought, and you'll be fine.

While the class is very bland at times, she is such a sweet lady and very passionate about the class. She gives study guides and the exams are very fair. I don't know why everyone gives her iffy ratings when in reality she is a good professor.

Not an effective planner - class org is bad & first exam was 3 months into the semester(!) - exams are straightforward; take good notes & read - you'll be fine; about as inflexible and stubborn as a professor can get. Nice lady, not my fav.

I don't think she teaches well at all! And I don't think she is that good of an advisor she made 3 big mistakes and counting advising me before I transfered and after. She is also VERY BORING and I had her for a 3 hour class! only take if have to!

Her class was tough but if you can put a little effort into it you will do fine. Her tests are based on the book and her notes and her handouts but still somehow she manages to throw a question at you that you've never learned. I learned a lot but I wouldn't want to take this class again.

she comes off as a miserable person with absolutely no personality. she goes through slides forever and skips to the next one when the entire class is still writing. the material is very boring and she does not ever answer emails to important questions. impossible lecture to sit through and more work than the 'easy a' i thought it would be.

She treats you like your still in high school which is annoying. NO TEXT BOOK, WHICH IS VERY NICE. But you do have to print out a million articles and read them weekly. At best ineffectual and at worst very rude. Claims to be uber-organized, but is SO fussy about how you keep your notebook, the way you STAPLE a project (!) that her organization is stifling & incomprehensible. Treats grad students as if they are 5 year olds, and not in a warn-n-fuzzy way. Tests easy, projects impossible due to her OCD type demands

Shes very into her job and the environment, she uses a laptop presentation which is nice plus you have notes to follow along with, just read the notes and the multiple choice tests are easy. its very easy to do well if you just read the notes- dont really use the book
