Korp is an awesome teacher, i really enjoyed her class. i think she's funny, even if her jokes are a little before my time. she did a good job presenting the relevant info and interesting slides. its also great that we can drop our lowest test mark, and choose between different questions on tests. overall a great prof!

Sweet woman with really lame jokes. Jumps around a lot in lectures, but if you have general knowledge of what she's talking about you'll be ok. You'll either love her or hate her, similarly to Dali's "andalusian dog" movie.

SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD, and I've had 4 classes with her this year, all of which were amazing. She is passionate about her work, and goes to any length to help students who ask for it. Personal lack of interest in art history is NOT her fault, for her lectures are fascinating and full of interesting material. SHE NEEDS TO STAY!! A+!

A horrifying teacher and everyone hates her. She puts newspaper clippings on her door and circles every mention of her name. Psychotic, rambling, self-indulgent lectures that impart either misinformation or useless, vain tirades. The marking scheme of a lunatic. Looks like a deranged vampire. Her contract was not renewed = good call Carleton.

This woman is such a flake. She's like a character from a movie. A horrible prof, she's nuts, she talks about sex and women all the time. If I was a guy, I'd be pissed because she harps on men all the time. She turns off the lights, and I just want to go to sleep. The marking system is flawed. The course load is too light for a university class.

The most monumentally terrible lecturer I have experienced in 4 years of post secondary education, and that saying a lot because I have been subject to some awful attempts at teaching. If I can prevent just one person from having to endure her disaster of a class, I will feel the $130 I wasted on the text will somehow be compensated for.

I was eager to take the class, but let's face it: the objectives of the course are NOT clear, and there is not enough focus on any particular topic to pass an exam. For those of you who received A's, I'm sure you read the entire textbook front to back before the exam. I studied and still got a D in the class. Still interesting, just not my bag.

Umm...well, she's intelligent but she incorporates too much art into it. A lot of the books were irrelevant. Also, for a FYSM it had an awful lot of work involved compared to other classes. She's a nice person, but I think I like her outside of class better. She knows a lot and has a lot of interesting stories, but a lot of the time it's irrelevant

I never understood fully what went on in class. But through the blurred objective of the course and the hundreds of artists named, it became clear. And I actually learned something. Dr. Korp is a unique woman with a very specific idea of the art world. If you can deal, take the course. It turned out to be worth it.

I have no ideawhat thislady talks aboutshe babbles a whole lotand that makes it confusing on what I should be taking notes on. You have to have a whole lot of patience to take her class, n just so you knownever ask her for help she'll make you even more confused. The books that shehas assigned us are extremely boring especiallythe onethat shewrote.

It's really difficult to stay focused in this class. While the material has the potential to be very interesting, it is covered in such a cursory manner (and interupted by constant name/place dropping) that ... by the end of a class, I have NO idea what went on.

Well, where to begin... This class is beneficial if you can somehow manage to blockout the endless babble about who she knows and what people write about her. The name dropping is unbearable. For someone so obviously not artistic she professes to know a whole lot. And if you ever have two classes with her, beware they will be esactly the same.

She asks your opinion, if you ever take her course, DO NOT GIVE IT unless you know her stance on it. She's extremely self promoting. She knows her stuff, but more than 50% is not relevant. Makes it impossible to know what to study for, she's all over the place with her little stories about...you guessed it! Herself.
