She may be an awesome professor in class but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case with regard to online courses. I ended up dropping it since the way this course was structured didn't suit me well at all. Such a shame that I wasted my elective choice on selecting this course.

This course and how it is laid out is the best ever! I am learning so much about brain and behaviour, it's nuts! This is not my major but Melanie designs the course so you dig right in. I've learned more in this course than all my other courses this term!!

Melanie and Farzad have been the best professors I have ever had. Melanie is funny, treats you as her equal and is willing to help you with your future. She makes class fun and her coursework is easy and straightforward. Best elective I've ever taken in my life.

This course has been the absolute best course ever taken - psychopaths and serial killers. The structure of the course makes you want to dig in, read and watch the films and participate. I've learned more in this course than in any of my other courses, seriously. Melanie is smart and helped me out this term. Mind blowing material.

Very good teacher, she explains the material until every student understands it fully. She seems like she really enjoys teaching the topic, so she puts a lot of effort into class. Classes are mandatory because if you miss one class, you've missed a chapter and a large chunk of tests. Overall a great teacher.
