Lisa is AMAZING! She is so understanding and has such fun lectures. Almost no homework, reading isn't necessary to do well in the class, and she LOVES giving extra credit. She made me enjoy geology and I truly enjoyed this class. Take Lisa's GEOL 115!

Lisa is great and the best professor you could ask for in a class like this. Reading is pretty much supplemental because she gets all the information out in lecture. She's a lot of fun and I would take her again

Class is WAY too hard for intro. Even TAs said it was too hard. Lamb is not clear what will be on tests. No organized or clear review. The test questions are not even on the study guide. Knows a lot about the topic but tries to cram too much in. Very confusing and frustrating class. Labs are fun. And textbook is useless and has typos. AVOID.

This was WAY to hard for an intro class. Lisa is nice.... kind of. .. I feel like it's fake most of the time. Textbook is helpful to understand the lectures but have nothing to do with the test- book was also very all over the place (JUST LIKE P.LAMB)

Very unclear. Very boring. Very hard tests. She also tries to be funny when she's really the most annoying person ever. You have to read the textbook to understand what she's even saying... but the textbook info is barely on the test... random test questions meant to be hard and annoying.

Ridiculously hard tests for an intro class. Very unclear about what she's asking. Easy homework and labs for the most part, but the tests are awful. Definitely not a "rocks for jocks" class. Studied over 30 hours for one exam and still got a C and I am a very good student. Would not recommend.

Tries to be funny and is not, doesn't hint toward what you will be tested on so you end up studying everything you have been assigned. Book is not used much although you need it because you do problems related to the reading. Brutally boring to listen to in lectures but it's where you learn most of the info. Relatively easy with a little effort.

This class is way too hard for an intro geo class. Do not take it if it is just your general lab and you are not interested in looking at rocks all day, lab is fun but you dont learn a single thing for the test. Tests are way too hard because she does not teach you anything

For an intro class it was ridiculously hard. There is way too much info for the course. There is too much info for taking a test. I just had a really bad experience, and most of the ppl in the class were really frustrated with her. I reall enjoyed lab, but did not like lecture at all!

She knows a lot about the subject, HOWEVER is not very good at clarifying the material to her students. Tests are extremely difficult and she is unclear on what you need to know for them. I would not recommend this class if you are just trying to get your general out of the way...otherwise you will find this class consuming a lot of your time.

My favorite class. She's hilarious. Class is totally laid back and she makes it interesting. Material is easy. you learn about lava and rocks...so much better than physics/chem...lab is fun. You do like a worksheet. Easy. I wish i could take another.Jay moore for lab!!
