Don't take him. HIs lectures are so boring- he literally talks for 50% of the time and then makes you watch BORING youtube videos for the second half. His exams are actually crazy cause he makes you write 2 well structured essays with courses in an hour, but he does give the prompts ahead of time. He's not very understanding or compromising either

do not take merle longwood. i had to teach myself everything. i could barely stay awake during any class because he stutters about ridiculous things the whole time, if you can even understand him. if your stuck with him, dont worry too much. you can figure most things out that you need for tests and papers, its just annoying.

Very boring. But then again how can teaching a religion class not be boring? I actually found myself laughing to myself at times during this class (as weird as that may seem) but it is because of the fact that he is pretty amusing. He would be a great guy to go to watch a football game or baseball game with....but not so much fun teaching RELG.

materical is easy to understand and he gives review sheets so u know what is on the test.. HOWEVER, cannot understand a word he says..very slurred speech and studders ridiciously!! very hard to understand. gradse pretty easily on papers.
