I took him in the summer of '18. I hated it. Dude, showed a video of blackface and said the performer was amazing. Nuff said. He talks so much, it's hard to retain information. I changed my major because of him. Although, I can say he has great energy for an elder and he's still passionate about news. Learn the vocab and study (I guess).

He really knows his stuff and has a lot of experience in the communications department. However, his lectures are extremely boring. You get a textbook with 12 chapters in total. Theres a quiz for each chapter. Theres also a paper, a midterm, a final exam, and a group project. I wouldn't take him again though.

Professor Sigale is a very intelligent, humble caring person. However, his lectures from time to time were excessively boring. I feel terrible because he really knows his stuff about mass communications! 12 quizzes, 1 midterm, 1 final and an easy A project (but do your research)! He's a genuinely kind person, but, I wouldn't take the class again :(

This class was not difficult, you review 12 chapters and have a total of 12 quizzes but he drops your lowest 2. I guess it depends on his schedule, but he was late for almost every single class, so he cant really say much to students who arrive late. He definitely knows what he is talking about, but often times his personal bias is very visible.

Amazing professor. Even though he had a tough semester (car accident) he still had a great spirit and a positive attitude. Class is fully based on easy quizzes, participation, 1 essay, a midterm and final exam. Completely recommend taking it.

I really tried to enjoy the class but it was so boring! I felt so bad because you can tell the professor knows his material. He's very nice and funny. If you want an Easy A this is the class for you. All you need to do is read the chapters and show up the quizzes and tests. There is one paper, wasn't hard at all. Wouldn't take the class again :(

You really dont need the textbook, the quizzes that are over the textbook are so self explanatory and its basically common sense. 1 paper and 1 midterm, both very easy. Quizzes practically every class, 5 questions all multiple choice, extremely easy. He is very very very boring though

There is a quiz on every chapter. The lectures are BORING, he literally repeats the textbook in class. It is an easy A, but you have to survive the monotone talking for an hour and 15 min.

Professor Sigale is a wise man. Not only for his age but his knowledge is impeccable, he makes the meetings extremely interesting and provides the class with humor here and there. Would take as many as his classes as I could! Great professor and exceptional man.

Sigale is the best professor Ive ever taken. Hes a sweet, old man and has so much knowledge + experience in the world of journalism. Ive learned so much! Im very thankful he chose to teach at Kendall campus, i cant imagine a better professor than him. He is lecture heavy, but in a good way! Its no way to fail, unless you 100% dont try.

Took him for two courses, he goes off topic a lot, you never know your final grade until the last day of the semester. MMC is a bunch of common sense quizzes, JOU is a lot of story writing. everything is worth one third of your grade in both classes. ALWAYS late. Good prof, but the classes are just boring.

Super cute old guy but not the best professor. He lectures based on the quizzes, only 5 questions btw, and you basically have to read the rest. Goes off topic a lot. Mostly common sense for the midterm and final but really helps to read. Lectures are really boring so its hard to force yourself to go to class. No phones!!

Mr Sigale is one of the greatest teachers i've met in MDC. He is very smart and knows his thing. I like the way he teach politics, but he steps back and gives both Liberal and Conservative views so the students can understand the issues in many points of view! Each chapter of the book a 5 questions quiz! A paper and 2 long test! 150% recommended!

If you want an A in the class you just have to read the chapters and try to not fall sleep in his class. While he has a lot of experience his lectures are a little bit boring. Also you get to watch a few videos.

Do the assignments, and try to score as high as possible in them. Grade is base on midterm, final, news writing, and homework. His Lectures are a bit long, but he knows what he is talking about, and has a lot of experience in the field. Great Prof. I will definitely take him again! Also, Prof. Sigale is always late to class.

He is a really good person, but as a teacher I will not recommend him. He is a smart guy ,and he have a lot of knowledge in Mass Media , his story life is pretty interesting, but I think he should focus more in the student in how making them to be more interest because to be honest is too long and too boring !!! Passes grade as a deserve it!

I took this professor last fall semester, I didn't really have choice, since he's the only professor that teaches MMC2000 at kendall campus. His lectures are extremely boring and long. You will get a quiz every week but its short, about five questions. Read the book!! Because his lectures helpless. Midterm and Final, no study guide. good luck

I'm not done with the class. You don't really need the book but it will help. He usually comes in late. Quizzes are 5 COMMON SENSE questions, quiz grade is curved. 3 wrong I think is a C. His lectures are off topic and long and boring but he's funny. He knows a lot about this topic. He's not monotone, just boring. I should have at least a B.
