Ok so this CLASS is really hard, but I totally admired this professor... he's good, and if you ever needed help he was REALLY good about helping. He seemed really mean in class but out of class you'd see how cool of a guy he was. :)

Good Teacher with a lot of passion for compiler theory. Talks too fast most of the time. If you want an A, u better be emailing and spending time in his office hours. Recommended teacher for anyone who is serious in learning CS.

I think if you pay attention in class you will understand the material and never forget it. He is a very tough professor but he appreciates hard work and sincerity. If you ask him questions which he encourages students to do , u get ur answers.U dont have to be a NERD to get an A in his class.

He works in Raytheon and he considers that you alredy know a lot and his tests are relatively very hard and final project,(dont ask), only proffesional programmer can finish it, even if you work in a group, I bet you, you can not complete his project. if you have option, dont take this proffesor.

Prepare for a lonnnng test. Very frustrating because you practice with all the exercises on the book and you won't get a decent grade. He's very, very helpful. He's just not for me. He's better than the professor at CSULB for this course.

Too many people faults him for teaching a difficult topic. I finds him to be above average at both explaining difficult topics and trying to help with your project. He seems to be a nice guy and approachable. However, he doesn't like lazy students.

First 2 weeks of class, I couldn't understand what he's talking about so I dropped. After I took it from someone else and really knew the material, I overheard him explaining something to a student. I still couldn't understand him. He can't teach.
