Dr. Bellamy is a good choice if you would rather have a thorough understanding of the material as opposed to an easy A. He will make you work for your grade, but he works very hard to convey the information clearly during his lectures. He will happily explain something to you again during his office hours (as long as you attended the lecture).

Hilarious, caring. Lectures just amazing, along with the notes you could learn everything about Gen Chem II in his class. I study the notes for 5 hours per exam and average 106.8% in his class. Easy enough, helpful, learned so much and BELLAMY is loved by every single smart person I know including myself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Bellamy is so easy OMG. I never learned anything about Chem II before I took his class and everything he taught was brand new to me. However, through taking his class, I learned so much about chemistry and it's awesome. People might think he's boring because of his traditional teaching style but the content is what matters and what made him gr8

So much homework, worth so little points. 20+ homework questions worth only 7 points. It's not worth my time, but I needed every point I could get, so I did it anyways. The class average was a 70%, which is really low imo, because that means that half of the class did not pass this class. He was very rude, and couldn't teach the class effectively.

Dr. Bellamy is super strict about electronics and attendance. As long as you stay on his good side with those, and do the assignments, you 'll be fine.

Dr. Bellamy seems to be an all-around good guy, but in the classroom he is super scatter-brained. He goes from one topic to another without ever finishing what he was saying about the first. I just found this class to be very confusing and hard to follow.

Dr. Bellamy gives what I think are very effective lectures. Everything you need to know he takes the time to write on the board, which makes it an easy class to take notes in. The material for Chem I was easy to understand and he helped clarify things and make it easy. His tests are easy, just study a bit and you'll do fine. He is super funny too!

I personally thought he was a good teacher. Just ask questions. Yeah he ramble and get jumbled sometimes. But overall, he was a pretty good teacher to me.

He goes off-topic a lot. He loves Haiti, and always has unhelpful flashbacks. The only thing I like about him is that he makes study guides for each exam. I personally do not think he shows interest in Chemistry at all, and the only reason I got an A is because I learned everything by myself!

Overall not a bad teacher, just a bit jumbled. Really needs to work on transitioning into different material, especially for those who aren't as strong in Chem. Glad I had a good background in chemistry and still have notes from then, otherwise this class would be hell.

I really enjoyed his class. I thought he was a really good teacher if you actually payed attention. The homework he gives isn't mandatory but if you do it and do the previous tests he gives you on ecompanion the tests were pretty easy.

Funny to listen to lecture, but not a very good teacher. He messes up quite often when explaining things. Tests were hard, because he doesn't really teach. He tells you what you need to have memorized though, and replaces your lowest test score with your final if it improves your grade. I would not recommend him if you want to actually learn.

He's passionate about chemistry, but doesn't know how to teach. He doesn't explain things well at all, and just assumes that everyone knows what he's talking about. He goes way too fast through the whole course. He's a nice, funny guy, and is willing to provide help out of class, but he just is a horrible teacher. His tests are HORRIBLE. Avoid him

Took for Chemistry 1 and 2. He is a fair teacher, but his lectures are boring, unless you like chemistry. Goes off on tangents a lot. Tests are unfair, but he listens to students and they've gotten easier since he started teaching.

His class is sometimes fun. I disagree with the fact he is lazy. He gives extra credit quizzes not mentioned in the syllabi, and writes practice tests for another teacher's lab. His test are ridiculous and unlike the practice tests, I would recommend another teacher unless you are good with chemistry. People who study get Fs in his class.

I am not learning anything in this class. I went to study with friends who were taking Chem 1 with other teachers and the stuff they are learning is much more detailed. And even though it's easy stuff and I study my butt off, I still do badly on the multiple choice tests. He is never in his office either.

He's a good lecturer, but if you aren't a good test taker, I wouldn't recommend his course. Grades depend entirely on 4 tests. I almost failed just because I suck at multiple choice.

Very nice, funny, teaches in a way that you can understand. He helps you and gives you all the tools you need to pass his class. Sometimes he can be a little monetone, but for the most part, his class is one of the most interesting.
