Comment:

Amazing professor. A lot of assignments but most is completion points, except for the essays which he grades kind of hard. You have a lot of time to write them, do not wait till the night before. Despite it being a Saturday morning class, it was worth it. The class was great and very interactive. Highly recommend, easy honors and english class!

100% reccomend this class, greatest teacher Ive ever had for an English class and miles above every other English teacher at Moorpark. He gives a lot of writing assignments, but all of them are simply completion based grading and in the end, simply writing more and more is what improves your writing.

Great professor, approachable and gives great feed back. This class is no joke though LOTS of homework. Wrote responses to the chapters read every week probably did at least 20 2-3 page responses, there is 3 4-6 page essays, 1 7-10 page research and an essay required for a book he has chosen the class to read .. and one group project.

Comment:

I've never met a teacher who wanted his students to succeed as much as Bryant does. There was an abundance of papers and reading assignments, but as long as you do your work then you will succeed. He graded assignments fairly and had a lot of group discussions that I enjoyed. Very light hearted and sassy man, but he made the Saturday mornings fun.

Prof. Bryant is a pretty cool dude. You're gonna be writing a lot in his class, but I doubt you'd find a Comp class that doesn't. He grades essays a little hard (60% of the grade), but he gets away with it because everything else you get full points for turning in. The research essay worth 30% of your grade, but he gives you like a month to do it.

Amazing teacher. Highly recommend. Really relaxed and focused on making his students think. Has three 3-4 page essays and one 7-10 page research essay, 2 in class essays as well as weekly chapter responses. Also takes in journals about a week or two before the final's week. Seems alot but it isnt, a little effort and youll get an A.

The course assignments include three 4-6 page essays, two in-class timed essays, one 10-12 page research paper, an honors presentation, chapter responses, and journal entries. Our class met once a week, so the course load was manageable. The professor provides extensive feedback on essays and is very affable and understanding. Highly recommended.

The course consisted of 1 research paper, 3 main essays, a journal, chapter responses, group presentation and a 2 in class essays. There is no tests in this class. Hold onto all of your graded papers, you will need to turn them in again at the end of the semester. Really nice guy, very understanding. Easy A if you put in a little work.

Hands down one of the best teachers ever! His patience should get him sainthood. There are no tests, but a pretty good amount of graded writing (in class timed essays, weekly chapter feedback, a group project, and several at-home essays) so you are certainly busy. You won't get a free "A" pass, but he is relaxed, funny & will help to make it happen

Mr. Bryant is the best teacher i've ever had. Our class was a community. We had so much fun and he let us write about whatever we wanted, which made the class so much more fun. There was one group project, a different group each week would teach a chapter from the book. And it was fun. Would highly recommend!

Bryant is an amazing teacher. He knows that you don't want to be there so he makes it as painless as possible. The class has 3 3-4 page essays and one longer one that's about 8 pages, they are all easy. He gives you lots of time to do them and lets you write about whatever you want. I can not recommend him enough. Bryant is the real MVP.

Professor Bryant is a great individual who really cares about his students. His grading is very lenient if you are willing to put in the time to do his assignments. He is down to earth and loves having in class discussions pertaining to a variety of subject matter. Two book reviews, a research paper seven pages long, four essays, a journal and hw.

Best professor I've ever been lucky enough to have! Took him for English 101 and 103 and got an A in both. A lot of essays but he's a easy grader, he's very sweet,understanding, and helpful. Wish I can take him for every subject!

Bryant is a great professor. For his honors class you need to write three 4-6 pg essays, and one 10-12 pg research essays. They are all super easy. You also need to do a 30 minute group presentation which is not hard AT ALL. I highly recommend taking Bryant. He is a good teacher and will help you if you ask. Very easy A

Professor Bryant is the best professor I have ever had!!!! He is so easy and nice. He does make us write lots of essays, few presentations, and a lot of group work, but all those things just adds points and he is the easiest most fair grader. I suck at essays I've always done horrible in English but I got an a in his class. I'm gonna take him again

Professor Bryant is a godsend! He's super lenient with what you want to write your essays about and always carries an objective point of view when reading them. I was in the honors section and the only difference was that we had to write 2-3 extra pages in our essays. He's amazing and teaches us oh so effectively. You won't regret taking him!!!
