The only class I had with him was a seminar in Taoism and Confucianism, but I wish I had more. He is great at what he does. He is very open to discussing topics outside of class and friendly. His office door is always open whether to chat, talk about academics, or about class subjects. I recommend him to anyone.

Great teaching style. He had a lot of great stories and really made the material interesting. Nice guy. My only complaint is that he took more than two months to get our midterms graded, but I really enjoyed the class.
