I truly had an amazing experience with Professor Corey's class. Yes, you have to work hard in his class, but thoroughly enjoyed how he challenges your thoughts and prove your ideas. He teaches you how to think, not what to think. If you ask an obvious question, I'm sure he'll let you know, but he as fair in the end.

Get ready to not be able to ask questions, he will cut you off and say the answers are on blackboard. Basically hates students, I even spotted a folder on his computer screen that said, "Why College Students are Stupid" It was really disheartening. He also liked to complain about his own schedule, and how he was irked into going to this class.

My class was online, Mr Corey was there if I had any questions. Yes it was a tough class, only because there was a lot of reading. But, if you KNOW how to study for tests, you will do great in this class. No study guides given. I enjoyed Mr Corey as my instructor. It will be a memorable class. Surprisingly I learned more than I expected.

this is the most aweful teacher i have ever had! he will not help you AT ALL! and i wasnt asking for answers, just guidance as far as what to study for tests besides trying to memorize the entire chapter (which is immpossible) you must have a photographic memory to pass this class... DO NOT TAKE HIM

Even if you memorize the text you will not be able to decipher the meaning of the teachers questions on the test. Expect to spend 15 to 20 hours a week on just this class if you want to receive an "A." Out of 202 college credits this was the only teacher I did not receive an "A" from. Absolutely terrible.

Corey is honestly a terrible professor. Not only are his teaching methods severely lacking, he doesn't respond to any of emails in a timely manner. He doesn't care about helping his students or seeing them succeed. I'm a hard working student, I don't mind the level of work given but he made it impossible to do well on the DQ. Don't take him!

If you enjoy takin tests in which the questions must be re-read at least twice to get the meaning...then this is your teacher....most DQs have nothing to do with the tests.Each test has 25 questions and you only get 30 mins although the timer states 1hr. Also, you cannot go to a previous question or do any back tracking on tests. No papers to write

Course is almost impossible. As others have said, you must have a photographic memory to get a decent grade on his tests. Also doesn't seem to give decent grades on DQs. You'll spend 3x longer studying for this class and get half the grade of a much more difficult course.

This is by far the worst teacher I have had after 140+ credits. Had a perfect GPA up till this teacher. Test are closed book and questions are more on wording used in the textbook than on actual knowledge of events. If you take this teacher plan on spending twice as many hours as your other classes and getting a worse grade.

So many problems with this professor. I took Humanities Survey class online and his workload on the student is just insane. His tests/quiz's are almost darn near impossible to pass. He demands insane amounts of discussion posts. AVOID THIS TEACHER. Take Mr. Doll's class instead!! Completely Worthless teacher.

Well I hate online classes so start with. But some of Mr. Corey's policies really bothered me- like no going back on a test to change answers, and how none of the DQ questions seemed to pertain to the material & we had to respond to every student every week. Horrible subject- don't reccomend corey at all.

i wish i wouldve read all of the entries on this man before i took his class, which i think i failed He wont respond to emails unless addressed by his proper name, tests are very hard, have to write DQ postings every week with responses to EVERY student in the class (30+ repsonses a week) 1 DQ topic was about circumcision??? God speed if u get him.

OMG!!He did not not answer any of my emails. I wouldn't take his class if he was the only humanities professor alive I failed his class because he don't have any extra credit and three proctored exams that you will never pass because it 50 pages in a chapter and he expects you to know the depth of everything. DON'T TAKE HIM IF YOU WANNA PASS.
