Felland has been teaching Calc 3 for a number of years now. He has the class down to a science. If you keep focused during the lectures (which can be slow), and go to recitations every week, there's no reason not to pass. If you pay attention, you will also catch his jokes. He's a great, funny man and as a TA it's an honor to work for him.

The best professor you will have. Has a clear sense of pace and the material's relative difficulty. Extra challenging/visual concepts are done on the blackboard. Otherwise powerpoint. You will thank him later for the amount of HW. Notice people who rated him below 3 didn't say why. PS: Pay attention to his asides: they're often powerful insights

Make sure to do all the review sheets that you get before an exam. Study before the recitations because the quizzes are not always on covered material. HW due every class. Horrible jokes.

The fisherman of clarkson! He knows the material extremely well and knows the patterns of the students over the years, he'll tell you what mistakes you are going to make on exams and to be mindful of them. Humorous at times and has interesting habits (moving the cup and coordinate finger grids). Exams are super easy and exactly the same as practice

Felland isn't the most exciting teacher, but he teaches the Calc III very well. Moves through the slides a bit fast, but if you pay attention, its really easy. His jokes are the best which is a bonus. Homework due every class which is kind of a pain, but it drills the material into your brain.

Overall, one of the best teachers I've had. This semester he was my Calc III professor. Before every lecture he hands out notes, which are an overview of the lecture, and goes through example problems with you. All of the homework is online, and I would recommend not cheating/copying because the practice is useful. Great jokes during lectures.

Felland is one of the best teachers ever. If there's something you don't get, he'll help you in office hours, he's always there. I wish I could take more classes with him. This guy really knows his stuff, incorporating history and anecdotes into almost every lecture. Really describes the material. And can answer any question about math ever. Period

Spectacular professor, incredibly intelligent, amazing at explaining everything in an understandable manner. Knows everything without a text book or any reference, if you go to him for anything he won't let you leave until you absolutely understand it, courses are easy but interesting, take anything you can with Felland, he's the man.

Great professor, brilliant mathematics mind. I've never asked a question of him that he couldn't answer, on the spot, with no reference. Always in his office, even late, always willing to help, even with math courses he's not even the professor for.

Worst math professor I've ever had. Goes off on too many tangents, such as squirrels. Avoid at all costs.
