I can't believe this man's rating is <4. He's extremely genuine, a fantastic teacher (he's very obviously teached for a long time), he's extremely interesting, and an expert in his field. It's an honour to learn from him. This is what I pay thousands of dollars a year for--to learn from people like this. A gem of Waterloo.

type the notes or youll never have time to copy, listen, and understand at the same time. listening to this guy is very important, because most of the exam content is based on his terminology and lec notes. assignments are poorly made (many flaws and errors). interesting course content though.

if he paused for a moment with his rambles about his kids, i may have learned something about software abstraction... the online notes were horrible too, so u were forced to sit and be bored to death with his rants... what a waste of class time.
