I had this man for bio lab and my guy, say goodbye. He explains stuff too fast and he expects you to know things you don't understand. The weekly quizzes are always the smallest information that has nothing to do with the lab. He is too smart to be teaching. but he studies snails so he's cool.

Comment:

Dr. Judge is a hard professor, no doubt about it. However, he pushes people to succeed to learn the most they possibly can. If you go in for extra help, participate in class, and he sees you putting in work, he will be more lenient in grade determination. One of the most helpful and understanding professors i've had at Manhattan College.

Horrible, hard to follow lectures. He's very back and forth and round about and doesn't connect things well. He expects you to connect all the dots. The tests do not coordinate with the text or the lectures. He's not very helpful in picking up your grade. The tests are IMPOSSIBLE. No one in my class does well on them. He does offer extra credit.

Dr. Judge is a great person, however, his exams are very difficult. His lectures can seem pointless, only because you're basically teaching yourself the material. He's a fast paced-person. Tried going to his office hours, but it really didnt help with understanding the material. Reading the textbook is your best option.

Remember faintly working on his lab assignment on spores and noted an unusual quantity of spore pairings had been produced. My nice lab partner praised me for the observation. Judge made a teachable moment about nature. This wanted me to learn about the subject even more. But I drop the class, major and school for outside reasons now trying again.

Dr, Judge is a nice guy but is a terrible teacher. His lectures are pointless because he doesn't teach you anything and you have to teach yourself all the material. His test are also very difficult and he makes everything too complicated. Again, he is a nice guy but it seems as though he does not care to help if your struggling.

Dr. Judge is a good guy. He requires you to be in class which is annoying because he teaches you nothing you cant read strait for the textbook. Just read every word of the text and you'll do fine on his tests. Class can be annoying at times because he goes through 2 whole chapters in a single class if behind. Just teach yourself.

Had him for ecology, hes a funny and cool guy but doesnt know how to to teach. labs are very long and boring. read the book and do the online quizzes, you honestly dont even need to go to class, just have someone sign you in. he curves which helps a lot, once again read the textbook and you'll be okay. tests are pretty hard though

Got a B in class, completly lowered my premed average :( You will have a test everytime you have lab. Test are impossible.Only got a 100 once the whole semester. He tends to go off on a tangent. Very hard although I studied every week. He is available for the the major pratical exams :). You will take about 14 quizes for the whole semester.
