Give him a chance! He can seem absent-minded, but he is so willing to help you if you ask him. He also understands student's time constraints. I have taken two classes from him and I really like him.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews. Maybe he has read the reviews and has done something about it. Mike is a wonderful and helpful professor. He gave me immediate feedback whenever I needed. I would recommended him for this class in a heartbeat!!!

Unbelievably disorganized and scattered. It was an online format and 2 months went by without any contact! Plenty of assignments due, but he only graded one of them. It is disgraceful that he is head of the department.

He was always unprepared to teach. He talks about himself a lot and its not very interesting. He doesn't have much passion for the class and it shows. It is a shame and an embarresment that he is the head of the department.
