I disagree with those who say you won't learn much about ENGL in his classes. He's got an over-the-top "image," and he IS very funny, but none of it gets in the way of his teaching. He knows a lot, and you *learn* a lot. He speaks passionately and eloquently, gives clear explanations, and is never boring. Great class discussions.

I HAD HIM AS A TEACHER DURING THE SUMMER BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED AND HE WAS THE BEST. A VERY FUNNY AND RANDOM STORY TELLER. I LIKED WHEN HE WOULD THROW CHALK AT THE BOARD TO C IF IT WOULD GO IN THE CHALKHOLDER. HE IS A VERY HARD GRADER BUT HE IS HONEST SO HE CAN HELP U IN THE LONGRUN.

UNCLE MICKEY! Best line, which you cannot take one of his classes without hearing him say it "I hate you all, you little ****s!". Best stories, fun to argue with, got the class TALKING and involved. Added charm of that slight british twist.
