I love Dr. Ross, he is so amazing. He loves what he does. Lectures aren't mandatory, but it would be wise to go. The tests are straight forward and he throws out questions that many people get wrong. He does pop-quizzes that mean write your name on a piece of paper and turn it in, if the classroom looks empty. TAKE HIM!

This class would definitely be easy if I had taken a psychology in high school. Ross's lectures move relatively quickly and are packed with content. I was in a T/TR class, which he continuously let out 20-25 minutes early. You definitely have to re-watch his lectures on Tegrity and go to his SI sessions.

Dr. Ross is one of the best professors I have had at SLU. He reads off the lecture slides (which he gives to you on blackboard) and goes into more detail while lecturing. Only 3 tests, 50 project points, and 5 attendance pop quizzes. He won't test you on something that is not on the study guide. If you take notes and study the study guides, easy A

I really enjoyed going to his class because he was interesting to listen to. You have to be in class to get the notes because often times he forgets to record the lecture on tegrity. You have to at least review a little bit for the tests but overall they are not that hard. Always got out of class at least 15 minutes early. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ross is one of my favorite professors. He's funny and makes the material interesting. Gives lots of examples during his lectures. He also records (most) of his classes so it's good to go back and watch to review. Provides past exams for review. 3 big exams, easy pop quizzes ("what's my name"), and extra projects to get points. Great class

super nice and lectures are interesting. posts powerpoints online but gives easy pop attendance quizzes every so often. three tests throughout the year, and assignments from his book are due at each test. he gives old tests/practice questions and they are pretty helpful for the tests. he loves teaching and is really helpful. take him!!!

Only three exams and that includes the final SO STUDY FOR THEM! They're not impossible but easy to mess up some things. Takes a lot of studying but go to class and listen because he gives you most of the answers in class. Won't pass if you don't show up so

Dr. Ross is really clear about his material and really knows what he's talking about. There are two tests and a final, and all are pretty easy as long as you go to class and take good notes. I'd recommend typing notes so you get everything, but be sure to go through them later. Go to his review sessions before the testsfinal!

Professor Ross is amazing. Attendance is pretty necessary to do well in the class, as he does all his lectures based on PowerPoints he presents, but he always let us out early. He genuinely wants all of his students to succeed. Project points and quiz points are easy A's, but exams do require extra studying. I'd definitely take this class again.

Ross is a great teacher. DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK. DO THE SELF HELP PROJECTS.It is not needed that you show up for every class, but he does give quizzes randomly. They tend to be more frequent at the end of the semester. Study as there is a lot of information, but easy to get an A if you do some studying

Dr. Ross is a great teacher, but DON'T buy the textbook. All you need is his class notes. He is very descriptive and thorough. His TA's are completely worthless. Classes are not mandatory, but he does give out 5 attendance quizzes throughout the semester, which are each worth 10 points out of the 500 for the semester (10% of the total). Good class!

DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK. His notes are all you need for the exams. They were a bit tricky at times. The TA's seemed to be worthless. He was a great teacher, very nice guy. Class was not mandatory but he would have attendance quizzes that were easy 10 points each time. I highly recommend this teacher.

Dr. Ross is a great professor for Psy 101. He really knew what he was talking about and really enjoyed teaching. He has many TAs who do most of the work for him. I'm pretty sure they even write the tests. He is pretty easy. The book is unnecessary to have because all of his tests are from his lectures, but I found it very useful. Take him.

DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK. Take good notes. Attendance isn't "mandatory" but he gives pop quizzes. Low total points so everything counts. Study guides are a must. Material seems easy in class but can be tricky on the tests.

DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK. Be very attentive in class, tests are based 100% on lecture. Also, be sure to do the study guides before each test and take the old exams. 2 Tests, 1 Final, "Quizzes" (for attendance), and Experiment Points. Good class overall!
