His lectures are very interesting and relevant to the subject and the textbook is not bad at all. Tests are short and sweet; marks posted promptly, no final. He offers bonus points and an optional paper, so there is no reason not to get a 90 in this course. Highly recommended!

Must be my most FAVORIIITEE psych prof! Very interesting lectures, and AWESOME book readings! In this class, you actually WANT to read! Fair midterms, and 2 ways to boost your mark: Optional paper, + BONUS MARKS! All props to Mike Ross, 'cause he has all the essential elements to run a University PSYCH course! I'd take his courses in a heartbeat!

Great class with this prof, can't go wrong. Test are very fair, marks are posted soon after (less than a week). Know the basic studies' results in the text book and lecture. Sometimes his practice tests had a question on the actual test. NO FINAL EXAM! just 4 midterms. Dr. Ross responds fast to e-mails (within 3 hours), and is very understanding.

Awesome prof!!! The text book is very interesting and his lectures keep you entertained. His exams are sooooo easy as long as you remember the details from all the studies and stuff.

Wonderful prof, one of the best i've ever had in my 4 years. 4 midterms, an optional paper, and some volentary studys to boost your mark, NO FINAL. If you miss a class email him for his notes, very clear, makes class a joy to attend. Study class notes and do readings in text, focus on the definitions and you'll do fine.

He is such a nice man and really good at being a professor! He is very helpful and wants to make things as easy as possible for students (but still makes sure we learn.) He has great examples of really interesting research and makes everything seem like it applies directly to you and ppl you know. So smart.Tons of his research is cited in the text.

Excellent prof who is also very helpful to his students. He presents a lot of interesting and relevant studies not covered in the textbook. His exam questions are applications of concepts and not just memorization which is great. Loved how he ran class demonstrations and presented us with our data.

One of the best Prof.’s I’ve ever had. I seriously had no interest in Soc. Psych. prior but since taking his class I am ‘on board’. I am totally intrigued now. He is a very interesting guy with great stories and examples. He always got back to me immediately with any questions.

Awesome prof. really great at teaching psych. funny, obviously knows alot and makes sure to explain things clearly. Expectations are reasonable and his exams are good. Just make sure to attend lectures AND read the book because he gets questions from either one.
