Comment:

He is a really fun teacher with a lot of experience. He talks a lot though but has some fun stories and will make you laugh. However, tests were so bad. He did not give you any clue on what would be on the test and what you find on the test will be stuff you didn't even study for. You need to teach yourself on almost everything. He does curve tho.

Mike is a great guy. The only problem I have with him is that he tells stories during class and does not go in depth to the material that is on the exam. Yes, he has great experience, and his stories are interesting don't get me wrong, but if he's going to do that, he should not give tests as well.

His lectures are very interesting! He is a lawyer and gives very good real life examples. There is one project when you have to go to Detroit to watch a felony case at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, It is very eye opening. Highly recommend taking Professor Sugameli.

Comment:

Prof. Sugameli is a solid choice, very old school which some people will not like. His homework is only 10% but he'll fail you if you choose not to do it. You have to participate but this is good because you'll only do better if you do. The court case project sounds like a drag but it's a blast. He also gives lenient curves on all of his tests.

Comment:

Professor Sugameli is a great teacher who is passionate about his students. While some of his assignments seem hard it is only because he wants us to get something important out of them and in the end as long as you show him that you learned something you'll do well. He was go great that I want to go to law school now!

Takes attendance. If you miss 3 classes you get marked down. He's really understanding & keeps you awake in lectures. 1 group project which took time outside of class but was not difficult by any means. Homework and current event is due every week but those are easy points! Midterm was long but open book--you need to study. Final was a take home!

I actually liked this class a lot! Professor Sugameli knows a lot. He is a lawyer so he gives real life examples which makes students understand the concepts more easily. He makes the class very interesting and he is funny, which makes the 3-hour lonkg evening lectures less tiring. Not a hard class if you read the materials and study for the exams.

Gives interesting lectures. He's a lawyer and has tons of experience and hundreds of stories. Participation is mandatory so make sure you read the material before class. Difficult material but as long as you study and listen in class you'll do fine.

Take this class, he's a great professor, cares about the subject and teaches the material in a way that keeps students engaged & interested! Has a good sense of humor too. Professor Sugameli is an attorney by day and a OU professor by night and has great real life stories he uses in lectures. Go to class, read the book, you'll easily get an A.

TAKE HIM TAKE HIM! Mike is a lawyer so he always has fun stories to tell in class. He involves the class in participating so you never fall behind and must be prepared for class. This was one of my favorite classes ever and I barely did a thing and got a 3.8. One oral presentation and rest is participation and test

Chose a quite practical textbook. Has practical experience as RE lawyer and lectures effectively by guiding the class through the assigned reading. Integrates student selected RE news articles and gave fair exams. Exams would be very difficult, but just challenging because they're open book/note/internet and he's an effective teacher.

Mike is a lawyer teaching a real estate class, and he does a great job. Applies well to real world, interview project is great. 3-5 HW questions and 200 word article summary per week, two open note exams non comprehensive, and 6 pg paper with 15 minute presentation. Not that hard and I learned a lot real estate investment.

Professor Sugameli is the best professor you could ever ask for. very passionate about his work, easy grader, fun class. Sugameli is a lawyer and he taught us about issues that can face each one of us throughout our career and how to resolve them. PLEASE TAKE HIS CLASS AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Fantastic teacher. One of the best I've had. If you read the material you are supposed to read and show up to the lectures, you can't not do well in this class. Even if you don't understand the readings, he makes sure you get it. Participation is mandatory and he won't let you slip by. I wish he taught more classes.

You will be required to complete homework (we also had to summarize RE related articles) and read assigned chapters each week, but M. Sugameli goes over all necessary material in class. He is fun and you will learn a lot if you give the effort. I'd definitely recommend him for all Finance majors.

Does a good job. Cares, Cares, Cares! He's concerend more with "are you learning in class?" than being a tough grader on assignments (easy grader). One of easier courses in MBA program. Great teacher. Learned a lot. Recommended if you're at all interested in any facet of real estate.
