Fun Class. I actually LEARNED quite a bit about film, which I had never much thought of prior to this class. I would definitely recommend this class to fellow students. :)

He is such a nice professor, and very lenient. He is very helpful and will read rough drafts. Class is painfully boring. 2 and 1/2 hours of reading the books. He kinds of drifts off sometimes. Consists of 3 essays. Fair and easy grader. Handwriting impossible to read though.

Never prepared for lecture--just talks about whatever interests him. Discussions mean are listening to him. Assignments are rarely about what interest students. Grading is wacky--no one can figure out what he wants.

Great instructor. Makes subject interesting. Enthusiastic. As dry as American literature is he makes it bearable. His class has made me into a better reader and has given me a greater appreciation of American literature. Nice guy, even when you're late.
