Fr. Tunney is a pretty good teaching and very knowledgeable. The class is by no means a blow off and there is a good load of work involved. He is generally helpful and nice though he can come off as condecending at times. All in all not a good guy and good class.

Comment:

Fr. Tunney is one of the most knowledgable and caring professors at Canisius. He is very easy to get along and a very smart man. Treasure everything you learn from him he will not lead you in the wrong direction. Do NOT take this class if you do not care about art. He takes his teaching very seriously. I am taking all of the classes that he teaches

Comment:

Awesome class. Fr. Mike is a great teacher, cares about his students and know art. Its not an a blow off class, don't treat it as such. You have to really put in your effort and studio projects wind up taking a long time, at least if you really care about your pieces. I did more work for art class than any other class at Cansius, except for my senior thesis.

Great guy, gives some annoying assignments where you have to go to the art museum, but okay in general. Tests require memorizing names & artists for like 30 works of art, so don't take if you have bad memory! Nice guy, though, helps you out if you're struggling and really wants students to do well

Absolutely great teacher. Lets you be very free with what you do. Incredibly helpful and gives you advice. Only time I've had the chance to draw and paint nudes which was cool (not saying they were necessarily great looking people). Take this class.
