Comment:

He teaches a kind of boring subject but still has a good sense of humor. There are weekly quizzes based on lecture. Homework also but thats not worth a lot of points. He also goes over last semester tests which helps prepare you for exams. Just put in the time to study and understand the material, its not a difficult class.

Comment:

His lectures were so hard to understand. He did not spend too much time on any subject, and the whole class is literally lectures with powerpoints. The tests are hard even if you do the study guide last semester test. The homework is extra credit but not enough to help you raise your grade.

Provides a PowerPoint for each of his lectures. There is a book available, but not needed, there is free online text available. Gives out the previous semester's test to demonstrate the test format. All homework is extra credit, helps understand concepts. All quiz and homework are corrected before the unit tests. No cumulative testing.

Comment:

Homework is extra credit but not worth a lot. Quizzes about every week or so. Powerpoint is online. Subject can be boring but his humor lightens up the mood. He does go over a practice test (almost identical) before the actual test which helps a ton. Speaks clearly and overall a good choice. You will still have to study of course but it's not hard.

Harvath was such a chill guy. He emails you a powerpoint with all the lectures for the unit and does a review before the tests. Very nice in office hours. I took Macro with him.

Dude teaches a boring subject, but still has witty jokes. Show up to class, take decent notes, and you'll never need the book.(never bought it) Exams and weekly quizzes are lecture based.

He tries to make the subject as fun as one could possibly do with econ. Good sense of humor. The homework isn't too difficult, there are a lot of quizzes, he does a lot to prepare students for tests. He always tries to be as fair as possible.

Professor Harvath is very difficult. He does not spend enough time on certain topics and expects you to know things that you don't. His tests are very hard and math heavy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zikri over him.

I took him for Econ 1 & 2, both of which were very easy. I did not buy the book for either class and i still got an A in both, they're NOT necessary. He understands that pretty much everyone there is to complete their gen ed. There are 3 exams, a bit of HW, and quizzes. He goes over the exam of the previous semester and they are almost the same.

VERRRRy FUnny guy. Do the study guide, which is given from the beginning of the semester because it will help you get an A on the exams. quizzes are almost every week and are usually what he covered in class the days before.

Class was easy. Goes over a practice test from last semester and explains what he expects on your answers. The questions from the practice test are basically identical to the ones on the actual exam, just worded differently. Homework are extra credit, but highly recommend you do them to understand the material. Gives pop quizzes, but they are easy.

This class is pretty straight forward so if you do the work and study enough then you will be fine. The class is very reliant on lecture so you want to make sure to have regular attendance because its pretty hard to learn from only the book. He's a cool guy and his lectures can be interesting at times so I would recommend to take him.

Class was very straight forward. Test were easy. He has you print his study guide from his website and bring it to class. He will give you all of the answers to the study guide, and the test is mostly word for word to the study guide.

Harvath is a great prof. His lectures are great and hilarious and all the homework is extra credit. The tests are very easy and he goes over it the class before .
