I really enjoyed going to his class. Although the material was boring, he made it very clear what we were expected to know. I was well prepared for all of the exams. Very friendly and loves to make Breaking Bad references in class.

Lectures only consisted of him doing questions from the workbook, which let me tell you, are no where close to the difficulty of exam questions. So if you want to actually understand chem 121, try to get a different prof.

Professor Wolf makes a boring course already unbearable. Course is cut and dry from the textbook. Material in the book is nowhere as difficult as the midterms and finals. This course is all conceptual chemistry, and gets fairly complicated during the quantum mechanics unit. Good luck.

I thought he explained all he concepts very well. There was one chapter about quantum mechanics where I got focused. If you need help, ask! He's a really nice prof and always willing to help. The lectures can be dry if you have it right after you eat.

I used to like chemistry. Then chem 121 with Dr. Wolf happened. He didn't prepare us much for the midterms and final. Lectures consisted of example problems from the chirp. No explanations. No concepts.

Avoid him if you can. I wish I'd taken the course with a different prof. The materialchirp are already dry and he makes the course even less bearable.

Follows the CHIRP (workbook) to a tee, because he wrote it. Was crystal clear and soon all my friends wanted to come into my CHEM section. Best Chem 121 prof for sure.

He's super awesome, so willing to help out and makes lots of awkward science teacher jokes. He's also very clear when explaining difficult topics and advice I would give would be to do the pre reading, particularly for quantum mechanics

Tells you exactly what you need to know for the midterms and final. His quizzes are relatively easy. His examples in class are easy compared to the questions on the final but if you go to his office hours he's more than willing to go over harder questions with you.

Maybe he's too much of a 'doctor' and forgot some of the basics. Found it strange that he spoke with ease on the harder topics involving quantum mechanics yet couldn't identify an easy redox reaction :/ went to 3 other sections, and although the first one was crap, the other 2 found far more information that may be helpful during exams.

THE best chem prof ever. I've taken AP chem in gr12, but retook chem121 anyways, and Dr. Wolf is EXCELLENT. He explains concepts clearly, answers questions, & doesn't use complicated vocab to mess everyone up. He's friendly, humorous, & approachable. Best part? He does an "Element of the Day" at the beginning of every class. BEST CHEM121 PROF EVER.

Great Prof. Has a great understanding of the material... obvs but easy to approach if you have any questions. His lectures are amazing and probably the best chem teacher a first year could ask for.
