The actual acting doesn't come until the second half of the semester and when it does he doesn't go easy on you, no matter your level of experience, he expects the best and he'll tell you exactly what you're doing wrong. He's very hard on you and will tear you down without any remorse, but you'll be a better actor for it by the end of the semester.

Don't let the class description/title fool you, this is NOT an acting class. Save your money/time and take classes at The Green Room or The Acting Studio in Chicago. This class hindered me as a performer. Others have said that Webb will "push you" when what they really mean is his demeans people rather than properly critique and grow talents.

Nice guy and very enthusiastic about what he does. He goes off on tangents about his life sometimes, but overall I enjoyed his class and have no complaints about the quality of the class in general.

Mike gives you the opportunity to experience and learn for YOURSELF. He does nothing for you. You are pushed to your limits and pulled out of your comfort zone for good reasons. His commitment to the theater department is beyond amazing. If you don't get an A, it's because you didn't appreciate your opportunity to learn from a great man like him.

He talks about himself A Lot!! He may come off as cocky at times. But he is nice and friendly. A little crazy because he never sleeps and trys to do so much stuff. I will for sure take classes again with him. You have a choice about taking the final which is nice. Almost an easy A. He gave us a tour of Starlight which was cool. Easy tests!!
