Coming from a less than stellar language program in high school, I was expecting to have a very hard time in Spanish 200. Professor Grau acknowledged that many of us probably needed some review and didn't move on until she knew we were ready. She really wants to see her students succeed!

Grau was unclear about what she wanted from students all semester long. She was repetitive and took about 45 minutes to actually begin class so we were always kept late. The class was honestly a joke.

A very good professor-knows what she's teaching. Tests and quizzes are difficult to complete in allotted time, but if you study not too difficult. Assigns lots of homework and has lots of group/pair activities. Loves oral exercises for tests and quizzes, rarely speaks English.

She is very accesible, I have sent her e-mails on weekends and gotten responses in hours. She also goes the same way to her car as I do, and likes to make small-talk along the way. Kinda wierd, but shes cool

Good teacher, knows a lot about Hispanic history. Tests are long and hard to complete in the alotted time period, but they are not difficult. Assigns a lot of work and talks in spanish quite a bit, but it is worth it in the end because you learn a lot.
