The group project was s big unorganized but if you have a solid idea youll do fine, she definitely gets everyone talking with one another and the work is easy in class so if you take notes and listen youll do fine.

Comment:

You can see she is passionate about communications and making sure the class is involved (it's communications, duh) but she has a lack of respect towards her students sometimes. I found that when I had questions she would sometimes look at me as if I was dumb. However, she is always more than willing to let students redo assignments if incorrect.

I'm not sure what the other people are talking about but I think she's a good professor! She def lets you know if you're wrong but is respectful just about always. Her overall lecture style is fun. She gets the class involved (it is communications) and as the more you participate the better. Very outgoing and positive!

Professor Simpson was great! She is very nice and if you ever have a problem with your quiz all you need to do is talk to her. She cares about her students and you learn a lot in the class. Every week you have quizzes but as long as you read and take notes it's an easy A!!

Test are too often and they clash with the quizzes that she gives out. Her papers clash with other ones which leaves us with not time to complete them. I am completely disgusted with this course.

While she appears to be a nice person, her grading requirements are horrendous, her syllabus schedule changes too often to keep up with and there is little room for students having a hard time learning the material, if you don't know it, you will fail and there is no empathy. I have no problems with her personally, but as a teacher, NO.

Class was disorganized and confuting. Things were always changing...she was slow to respond to my emails. Lecture was totally disorganized, lots of cross talk. I've taken 6 college classes, this was the only one I didn't enjoy. I would like to retake the class with another professor. I got a good grade but it wasn't easy.

She did a good job at explaining the but didn't help me understand it... She would just repeat herself. Thinking it was right. And her Journals was graded like she was an ENG teacher, she would never grade just grade you on weather or not you did it but but also your grammar... And that's what killed my grade. And she always talked down to us.

Avoid her! I saved this class for last, and it was one of the worst! I've been threw 2 community colleges and 1 university. So I've seen more than my fair share of hard teachers, dis-organized instructors,etc. I did EXACTLY as she asked, and she STILL took points off. Assignments are heavy loaded, and she isn't clear. Trust me, avoid her!

Comment:

This was my first online class so I was nervous. Ms. Simpson was very helpful and responded quickly to all my e-mails. She grades heavily on incorporating terms from the chapters into the discussions and assignments. I enjoyed the class and would recommend it to anyone who needs to take this class.
