Mike is a fantastic teacher, yes his tests are hard, but there fair and if you study your ass off you'll be fine. In addition if you show that your interested and working hard, he'll help out your grades by scaling a test or letting you write an extra assignment. Interesting, refreshing and funny as hell. GREAT PROF.

Okm here is the thing about Mike, he is a really funny and interesting guy who cares a great deal about his students. His lab exams are the definition of hell, but as long as you show some effort and work hard, and show up to class (acadia is a small school!) he will scale your mark and it will all work out. He just takes some getting used to.

You either love him or hate him - his teaching style is all over the place, and he tends to lose the point he is trying to make. His midterms are impossible, but as long as you try, you'll end up with a good mark. Very opinionated guy that uses his experiences to make class interesting. Love/Hate this prof, depending on the day!

He talked about fish and politics half the time. Why is a marine biologist teaching human anatomy? Impossible to take notes in class that make any sense because he's all over the place! Terrible.

Even though my ratings were low, he is a great guy. His class is very entertaining and he relates things to the real world. He doesn't explain assignements or test questions at all though and marks you horribly if you don't do what he wants.
