Dont skip class or you'll fail. Ask him lots of questions so he notices you, you will get better marks if he sees you trying. Whatever he writes on the board, COPY IT ! He writes his tests off the notes he provides for us. He tells you exactly whats on the exam (no surprises). Be active on email and dont question when you will receive lab report.

Probably one of the best teachers, if you are there to learn, then he will teach you in the best way,i mean he will not just read of the slides but he will talk to you to make you understand. He doesn't stupid questions,and make sure not to skip classes and the come with the dumbest questions. He helped for real life situations he will for you too

Mike makes you actually learn something, not just memorize and recite it back. Life is not always going to be one question=one answer.His style of teaching prepares you for that type of environment. Those who can't take what they've learned an apply it to different situations would probably find it unorganized-but it's just above their capability.

All the people in here who are saying he is the best teacher are all suck ups and that is the only reason they have posted a good comment.If you want a good mark in his class i suggest you make read the book for. I admit that he is a very nice guy, but he is not a good teacher at all. He is quite helpful - he organizes after-class help sessions. However, he does not teach from a textbook, jumps from topic to topic, does not have a good study plan,and is disorganized, and takes time to start his lectures. He also showes favoritism.

I enjoy his classes very much. He is fun and his classes are very challenging. He is also willing to help if you need extra time. I remember him giving extensions on projects or tests if you are not prepared (that's if you have valid reasons). Very understanding. I miss his classes.

Good teacher, but you need to get used to his way of teaching. He is fun. He makes you think differntly by making you see things under differnt anlge. If you understand his lectueres, you are expert in that topic. He takes you to a new level of understanding. So be really well prepared before his lectures, read the topic beforehand.
