Very intelligentknowledgeable, for that reason even when I disagree there's much respect on my part. Definitely willing to explain things in detail for you if you ask which is really great and appreciated! very nice man almost grandfatherly (sat down and told personal story when we tackled really controversialsensitive topic). lots of readings

I loved Dr. Horner's class. He is so smart, but is still able to present content in a way that's clear and understandable. The debates were a great learning tool. Even when he ends up lecturing for most of class you don't have to worry about zoning out. The material is just far to interesting and extremely well presented.

I found him to be a little dry. He tended to defend his pet philosophies and didn't seem very well rounded. On the other hand I got really high grades in his class so I can't compain too much.

Michael is a knowledgeable person. He marks essays and exams very generously. His only fault is a terrible one: he reads directly from the textbook - VERBATIM - for hours on end. It is unbelievable.
