I see Mike is still inspiring students after many years teaching. I was a student of Mike's many years ago and I remember his lectures almost word for word (Today you are going to learn about PLL's.... :)) Since graduating I've tried to emulate his enthusiasm and crisp presentation style in my own technical training activities.

He is truly professional engineer. he got the knowledge and teaching skills. his lectures and notes are crystal clear if u attend the lecture. his teaching style is to help students understand in the lecture and implement what students understood in the lab. he doesn't surprise students in exams or in the labs w. The best prof in Ryerson! Again,best prof in Ryerson!! I do not normally rate any prof but i had to for him. Amazing lectures, barely opened the textbook. He thoroughly goes through his materials and teaches well. Teaches the concepts first then proceeds to the actual material that makes the lectures buttery smooth. Truly inspiring! :)

Kassam is the one of the best profs in Engineering. Best Lectures and Lecture Notes. Prepares you for the labs . Prelabs are a bit long but interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory but definitely helps. One of the most useful courses taught by a great prof!

Kassam is one of the best profs in Electrical Engineering. His lectures are interesting and easy to follow and will prepare you for the midterm/final and labs well. Make sure you attend the classes. I have to say he's not the easiest of profs to talk to. He expects a lot from you and is easily disappointed if you don't deliver. Highly recommended!

His approach to the thesis project is to run it as if he's a manager delegating the task to the employees. We chose not to request his help very much, and so I don't know how much would have been available (hence H = 3). He does not patronize or hold your hand. You decide if thats a good thing or bad for you.

Kassam is the man! This is one of the few profs that will help you prepare for the labs which was a nightmare for other EE classes (like ELE404 prelabs where they threw you in the fire). Notes are KEY to his class, make sure you understand them inside out and go to every class even if you're a skipper, trust me. Very motivational and inspirational

Kassam IS Engineering at Ryerson. First prof that made you think about the design process and problems related to it. Never miss a lecture, they're awesome, textbook is useless in comparison. Everyone needs to take his class, its worth it.

A good prof....good lectures, but you don't want to ask any questions...he will make you look like an idiot. If you are not doing too well in school, he will treat you like dirt. Expects way too much from students and is only bothered about his reputation and his stature in the department. Overall....not a nice guy.
