Comment:

Kinlaw is the bomb. He's a pretty lax teacher and answers questions to the best of his ability if asked. Ran into him a couple times while getting Erbert's and Gerbert's, and to sum him up in one word - chill. I'd really only recommend showing up to class and looking at the material frequently - an easy A, really.

Mike is the coolest dude ever. I took this as a 6-9 so showing up was pretty important, but not mandatory. The book is only used for optional practice problems, and I wish I wouldn't have bought the book. Take him!!! He is a great professor and is super easy and nice!!

Professor Kinlaw definitely understands that 99% of the students in his Statistics classes, either hate math or highly struggle with stats so he does a very good job at helping students understand the material the best he can. He drops bad quiz grades and allows cheat sheets for tests! He's awesome!

Amazing statistics professor. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you want a good grade you need to be in class. He puts statements and examples directly from lecture on the tests and quizzes. Put in some effort and you will get a good grade.

Kinlaw was the perfect stats prof. He knew that very few of us were interested/ majoring in Stats, so he tried to make class go by quickly. Assigns no homework (I would do it before tests), drops lowest of 2 quizzes, and a couple exams. Gives lots of extra credit and cheat sheets to ensure a great grade. Pay attention in class it'll be an easy A.

Very nice guy but you have to motivate yourself through this course 100%. He does not take attendance and he does not do quizzes. Only exams (which you are allowed to bring a cheat sheet for). His office hours are only an hour before class. he answers emails very quickly and will help as long as you make the effort. Definitely take it

I definitely recommend this class even if it is a 6-9, the first few classes will feel brutal. But I promise you if you stick it out it won't be as bad as you think. You get a full page cheat sheet for each test and the tests are not difficult. You have three exams and he gives out a lot of extra credit. He is also a super nice guy.

Kinlaw made stats very easy and approachable. I took a 6-9 so class was long sometimes, but as long as you showed up and did the homework the tests and quizzes weren't bad at all. Also, he gives you a bunch of cheat sheets to use. I would definitely recommend him!

Mike was such a good prof! He didn't force Stats on you and made it clear from the beginning that it was a gen ed class. He wanted everyone to succeed and as long as you tried and went to class you got a good grade. I recommend him to anybody! Even if you have to take a 6-9, do it. It's not bad at all!

Mike makes stats easy to learn. I think as long as you attend class and pay attention, you should do fine. Homework/attendance optional, but those who didn't do either clearly had no clue what was going on. He doesn't expect you to sell your soul to stats either. Nice job Mike!

I heard horror stories about taking stats. Kinlaw has a gift in making everything clear and simple for those of us who are not stats minded. He was very patient and willing to help. Very enthusiastic about what he teaches. I highly recommend taking his class.

I'm usually nice when it comes to professor, but he is VERY VERY VERY boring. He will read the slides word for word and go over examples like 10 times. And previous people said he didn't stay the whole time, well they are lying because he stays the whole time if not 2 to 3 mintues over.
