He was a pretty good professor. However, when I took the lab, it was the only class he was teaching so he tended to go overboard. The labs we long, the tests difficult, and I spent more time on the 1 unit lab class than I did for some of my 3 unit classes. But, he was nice, helpful, and really wanted the students to understand the material.

Hi People. Prof. Wangler is a super star. First, his name is Wangler - so awesome. Second, he is ultra sexy. Seriously, even when he straps on that fanny pack, I want to take a bite. Plus, he knows his stuff and is really helpful. Take his classes, you will enjoy them.

This class was more interesting than I thought it was going to be. Mike is very passionate about the environment and it was good to hear about geography from that perspective. I didn't think it was too hard, as long as you took good notes and studdied them regularly you'll do well.

Overall, I thought the classes I took with Wangler were pretty easy. And I'm not majoring in Geography, so that isn't my excuse. He's very passionate, and he's willing to help you if you need it. Just ask questions and study. You'll get an 'A'.

He takes this class WAY TOO SERIOUSLY! Most people drop the class early or fail. His class is harder than geog. major classes at State. Way too much memorization about plants and other non-related geography things. Do not take him!

Friendly, helpful, but class sucks. Unless you are a Geography major don't take this class, he expects way too much for a lower division course. Tests are not fun either, lots of fill in the blank and essay questions.
