Looooooved Dr. W. Extremely helpful by providing online office hours before each exam. Lots of one-on-one help if you need it like I did. Makes everything super simple so that it's not overwhelming. 1010 would take again.

I absolutely loved his class and would definitely take it again! He actually knows how to teach and makes it interesting. We learned about cancer and diseases and other cool things. He really wants you to learn and wants you to do good and the work is easy but you have to be willing to learn it. I only studied before tests but took good notes.

He's awesome. Knows his stuff and has an online component for the course that really helps you understand the material. He even takes some of the questions from the online flashcards/quizzes and pastes them on the exams. The exams are very straightforward, great guy and teacher.

Took him for my first year biology class and would recommend him to anyone. Doesn't give A-'s, so 90+ is an A. Attendance isn't mandatory but would definitely recommend going and taking notes, as it makes it much easier. Was almost an hour late to one exam cause my car died and let me take it without any hassle. Great teacher, great guy, take him.

Amazing teacher, best biology teacher at App State. You never get bored in class so you actually retain the notes and little studying is needed. His tests are straight forward and easy to get a good grade as long as you study a little.

Good teacher. I did really good in his class without studying because he holds your attention enough in class so that you just pick things up. Test are not comprehensive so its easy to study for them. Gives extra credit quizes for every chapter.

GREAT guy! I took his online human biology and it's working out really great. He's very organized and straightforward. Clear expectations, no curve balls. Really like how he uses different mediums and websites to teach. ...also I love his voice! Very helpful too.

Windelspecht is a phenomenal teacher. I was scared of my first lecture course, but he really made it easy. His presentations are very easy to follow and understand. He makes both lecture notes and power points available online. His tests are very fair, but hard to ace. He's really predictable. If he stresses something again and again, write it down

Lets just say this professor is Awesome!!! Im a BIO major and i made a B+ but thats mostly because my Lab Instructor was a tough teacher who aimed to screw his students over. But let me get back to Windelspecht He knows his stuff and is really good at presenting it. His tests can be worded tricky but are easy if you study.

Let me put it this way, I HATE biology and i made a B+ in this class, very great teacher. Tests come straight from the notes, i suggest going to class regularly b/c he adds things sumtimes, but nothing too major. Lots of extra credit tests that are easy and take 10 minutes. Made biology fun for me, take Dr. Windelspect!!

Dr. Windlespecht is an excellent professor. He really goes out of his way to make Biology as easy as possible for those of us that aren't Bio majors. He is helpful during office hours, and makes the lecture as interesting as he possibly can. He is also an extremely nice guy! Take him if you get the chance!

Great teacher. Made it interesting but of course, being bio it was still pretty boring. Go to class and take notes. Write down anything he says, it may turn up on the test. Nice and funny. Probably one of the best biology teachers here.
