Professor Ojermarks expectations are primarily: participation, show up to class (even if youre running late), and preparation. She wants all her students to succeed and go beyond their potential. Its an easy A but honestly - work hard and dont settle. Also, be polite and try! Shes a very respectable, kind, and funny professor.

She is very serious about attendance but if you show up to class she is very helpful. She is an excellent professor and knows what she is talking about. You do have to work for your grade in this class. She does drop your lowest test score which is nice. All of the homework is online so you do have to buy the textbook new and we use it every day

Professor Ojermark is absolutely incredible. She definitely cares deeply for each of her students and wants everyone to be successful. Language can be hard, but she presents material in a easy to digest manner. I've had other Spanish professors at DVC and she far outranks them all. She conveys material clearly and always offers more help.

Mrs. Ojermark is an amazing lecturer! She will immerse you into the Latin American culture. She is deeply invested in her students and in her course. She is strict as it pertains to deadlines for assignments and for tests. Do NOT miss deadlines! Otherwise, she is very laid back and her class is a lot of fun! Buen provecho!

I love Prof. Ojermark, she is such a great and professional teacher. Her classes are very structured and she is very helpful. There is a lot of material to get through, I am going to take her a 3rd semester in a row for 4th term Spanish because she is that great. There's a test every other Wednesday, not bad if you make flashcards. Take her!

She comes off tough at first , but really lightens up once you guys get in the flow of things. Awesome teacher really passionate about learning in general which is cool to see . Love her teaching method of constantly keeping you on your feet my Spanish has improved a lot with her. Also really cool just to talk to after class about culture etc.

Professor Ojermark is the sweetest professor ever, I love her!! She was like our mother she called us her children. I'd definitely take her again for Spanish. She is so sweet genuinely cares for her students and treats us with such respect. Also she made the class so much better with her positivity and humor. She makes Spanish so fun. Manegeable!

I love professor Ojermark! I took her class in person, as well as another class online. She is a wonderful teacher and is able to keep the class under control. For the in-person class, students who show up to every class are exempt from taking the final! Not the same for the online class, but the tests are still reasonable. Take this class!

As a former teacher, I found her mastery of teaching techniques astounding, the best I've observed. From the moment she walks in the door she inspires even the most reticent student. You'll be eager to 'perform' and it won't even seem like you're working--you'll enjoy it. You're going to learn a lot of Spanish from this really amazing teacher.

Great teacher! I took her for Spanish 120 and had a great experience. We did a lot of partner work throughout class. I would take her class again if I could! Textbook is necessary. There is a good amount of homework online but if you go to class and participate it if really easy and the tests are easy.

Prof. Ojermark has been one of my favorite teachers here at DVC. She is very clear and is amazing at teacher. She is the perfect mix of strict and easygoing. She's awesome and super understanding. She lets you drop a test if you got a bad grade on it. If you are never absent, she will let you skip the final. Honestly she's super cool. We do a lot of partner work in class and she's always there to answer questions if you have any. I would definitely take her class again.

The class was soooo easy. She is okay at teaching, all the native(ish) spanish speakers in my class do horrible on the tests which I didn't understand and she gets mad at you/frustrated if you don't understand whatever concept she is teaching. I would only recommend if you have taken spanish before and are able to learn from the book.

Ojermark is one of the best teachers at DVC. I took both 120 & 121. Yes, she is a little rough around the edges in the beginning, but her classes are worth coming to daily. Her lectures are very interactive, so you will not bode well if you don't like speaking in class. Tests are pretty much what she goes over in class & are very easy.

Ive been taking spanish for the past 5 years, and she is by far the best BEST BEST spanish teacher ive ever had. Shes amazing at what she does, if you attend every class you DO NOT have to take the final. Shes great at teaching and making you understand. Just dont irritate her :p TAKE HER
