Definitely knows his stuff, the lectures sometimes lack focus but so long as you do the readings it correlates. Best advice is to take down key points in his lectures and then study up on them by your own initiative. If you show genuine interest in the subject, and you actually make an attempt you will be fine.

DO TAKE every course offered by this man! Best prof, bar none. His passion for his craft allows students to better recall and interpret information. DO NOT TAKE ANY COURSES FROM THIS MAN. The worst prof, bar none, I have ever had. He's beyond scatterbrained - he spends no more than 30sec. on any topic before drifting into one of his spy fantasy anecdotes. Essay questions were bizarre and unclear. Everything he has to say of value is in his textbook - avoid this class!

Great political science professor! Incredible person who has lived an incredible life. No matter what course you take from him, you will definitely learn a lot. I wish more professors were like him. Truly wonderful, good-hearted and caring. Speaks his mind and allows you to speak yours. Other profs on campus need to travel&open their minds.

Hands down, the most interesting Prof I have ever had. So easy to talk to, LOVES the subjects he teaches, understanding, approachable & just wants his students to succeed. My experiences with Rezun have been some of my best at UNB. I love that he posts notes on BB so that you can follow along - something more Profs should do. Highly recommended.

He boldly announced at the start of the sixth week of class that we were finally going to be starting the material, and still told us nothing. I've taken half a page of notes in a total of 13 lectures. Definitely a waste of tuition dollars. Also, there are no text books, but there are 28 recommended texts. Sent us 3 different syllabuses. I regret Dr Rezun is a terrible professor. Taken several courses from him - never got less than 'A'. From comments he wrote - did not read my term papers. Doubt he marked exams. If he likes you - you get an A. Average about 10 pages of notes per semester. Repetitive and rambles. Ignorant, No Quality education. Employed because of power of tenure.
