I hate econ. I got a B minus or below in every other econ class I took at Georgetown. But I absolutely loved and learned so much from this class. In fact, I think this is my favorite class I took at this school. Kaneda is an amazing lecturer and person - Prepare to study your ass off, but also laugh at Kanedas random jokes and learn a lot :)

Kaneda is an excellent professor. He is, I might go so far as to say, a brofessor. However, beware: any passion for economics that he might be fanning with his lectures can be quickly torn down by his grading - even though the tests and problem sets don't seem tough, people end up way below where they thought they'd be, which can be unpleasant.

Professor Kaneda rules!! He's one of my biggest inspirations here at Georgetown. He memorizes his entire lectures and writes them all out on the blackboard, and his personal stories are absolute gold. He makes sure you learn the material, but the toughness of grading is absolutely brutal. If you want a great class at the risk of your GPA, take him!

Mitch Kaneda is a BABE. This man slays his lectures with his uncanny wit and awkward stories. This Broseidan, Lord of the Brocean, is the penultimate son of god and he woos the ladies with his super-strength. Though his tests can be tough, his supportive parallels and ameliorative acts of never-deteriorating kindness, he puts the pro in professor.

You can tell Kaneda is passionate about what he teaches, so don't expect him to dumb things down. If you're genuinely interested in economics, he's a must-take. Oh, go to all classes and get ready to take pages and pages of notes; the blackboard rules supreme in his classroom (no powerpoint).

I feel like I learned a lot with Mitty K, Lord of the Brocean. With that said though, this is NOT an easy class. My friends in other ITrade classes had much higher grades than me, even though I had a much better understanding of the material because of Mitty K. If you love Econ or want to learn more at the expense of your GPA, take him.

international trade isn't going to be easy no matter who you take it with. here's the deal: if you're an econ oriented person, take Kaneda. if you despise Econ, this is not for you. Just take rogers or chaudhury, they're easier. If you just want to get by with an A-/A, take them. Kaneda is challenging, and that final exam was HE dub hockey stix yo

Mitty K, as I like to call him behind closed doors, is a really funny professor who gives great lectures. He loves reading these outloud in class, so if you write one, include lots of l's, because he pronounces l's like laughably. However, The final was ridiculous. Are you kidding me, Mittsama? Its questions were harder than the midterm's. C's :'(

Kaneda is the man! God's gift to Georgetown. He makes ECON very entertaining with his very lively personality. His grading is extremely fair and the workload is very manageable. It makes me sad that the rest of the econ department can't get on his level. DEATH TO POWERPOINT.

Extremely clear and methodical about his teaching, and uses humor as "adrenaline shots" to keep the class entertained. Take his class if you can, it is better than the rest of them.

Prof. Kaneda is an ok teacher, but I never found him to be very helpful outside of class. The fact that he is also a dean means that if you're looking for outside support, you should probably look to a TA or someone else in the department.

Dean Kaneda is by far the best economics professor I have had yet. He presents the materials in such a way that the exams are an ease for even those who usually struggle with economics. He is hilarious in his own way and readily available to talk to. There is a reason he is the one everyone suggests to take for iTrade - I concur.

ITrade - Mitch Kaneda is the deepest and most epic bro of all time. On top of loving frat ice, he makes Brad Pitt look like a tool. If you're looking for a smart bro who also knows what's good, chill with my man Mitchy K, aka Broseidon, Lord of the Brocean.
