Comment:

No textbook in this course. Lab instructions are the textbook. However, don't expect to pass course by just reading at all the labs. They are A LOT OF errors in the lab instr and Professor is just too lazy to fix all those little things. You have to ask for every error to understand the requirement. The test is OK, neither hard or easy.

Doesn't really teach most of the material in the course and basically hands you answers and lets you figure it out on your own. His lectures are usually only a half hour and then he would often disappear from the class. Mostly a self-teaching class.

Had him for PRJ566, and it was quite a mess. His expectation of us throughout the course was pretty unclear. Often he leaves in the middle of class and disappears for a long while. Doesn't seem to care all too much for the students. I would avoid him.

He doesn't lecture but gives a few examples and expects you to read the material (posted on Blackboard) on your own, and then work on labs for the rest of the class. If you miss class, you may miss handouts that help you with your lab. He gives amazing hints for tests and the exam.

A nice person, and very clear about what will be on tests, but difficult to track down, and does not reply to emails. Also makes it very difficult to access study information, removing it from the course website or only providing printouts to students who attend the class. Final exam was surprisingly difficult! Nice prof, but prob best to avoid.

He is so helpful that I'm trying to find another course to take with him. Everything he teaches is directly focused on what will be on the tests and exam. Plus, near the end of the course, he organized extra classes to better prepare his classes for the final exam. The course isn't that easy, but he'll help you a lot.
