Horrible math professor, all he did was put examples on the board and hoped that you understood, wasn't very clear, hard to ask him questions, winded up withdrawaling from his class

Very good teacher in class. Uses tons of practice problems which help a lot to understand the subjects, even if his accent is a bit difficult. If you have a question about the subject, just ask a question in class! Maple assignments can be a pain, but you can find help. At first I failed every one, but I ended up gettings 100s.

Accent is hard at first but gives notes that parallel the book. Lots of chances to do well, collects HW randomly and gives weekly Mathematica projects. Make sure you have a strong background in calc 1 & 2 and trig or you will not do well.

Take it with a different professor if you can. Calc II is hard enough, and it's even harder when the class average is in the D range. He does his best, and if you have a good grasp of the course you'll do fine, but avoid for your own sake. If you take him it'll be a semester of pain but he gives lots of grade bumps if you go to him in the end.

He's not as bad as everyone is making him out to be... the bottom line is that it is not IMPOSSIBLE to pass. I got an A and in the middle of the semst has a 70%, but I never missed a class and did ALL the homework and copied down all the notes and looked over problems in the book. Accent is a little hard, but he writes everything down.

He is the worst math teacher I've ever had. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES! His accent can get in the way at times and he likes to do things his way which is wrong most of the time. His grading isn't fair and if we didn't do maple projects I'd probably have a D.

I would not recommend taking him if you aren't good at math. He isn't the best teacher in the world. However, if you're good at math, you'll have no problem getting an A...most of what's on his tests are very similar examples from class. He's just annoying with the maple projects. If you don't read on your own, you may not learn everything.

I don't know where all of these negative comments are coming from, I took Calc I with him last semester and am taking II this semester because he was such a good prof. Only math teacher I've had so far at SU that I've felt is a good teacher. Kind of hard to understand at first but gets easier, funny with a weird sense of humor

He has an exreme accent and you have to listen hard to understand what he is tring to say. the class is difficult and you may fall asleep. very helpful outside of class and compromises grades. make sure you do maple and homework assignments because they make a huge difference in your grade. the final are exact questions from previous tests.

If you know the math prior to his teaching, you should be good in his class. He gives stupid maple projects every week which is time consuming but easy. He's an easy grader, but i would recommend another professor if you would like things explained better, None explanation from him is clear, hard to understand him but easy class

Not much good can be said about Moazzam. hard to understan.only reason im passing his class is because i watch the cd out the back of the book.Givesdumb projects once a week that teach nothing and r very time consuming. 1 time he was explaining an equation and said, never leave yor friend behind a closed door in a hotel, this is the whole calculus.

Gives lots of homework, includes fairly useless extra projects. Exams not too bad, but different from homework, gives lots of chance for extra credit. Curious sense of humor, sometimes includes pet topics that aren't especially relevant (method of least squares in Calc 3). Generally easy to get along with, looking back, I did learn a fair amount.

He is a little difficult to understand but he really is a good teacher. He is always helpful and thoroughly explains all necessary material to do well on the test. He allows for huge amounts of extra credit and if you just listen to, he is a pretty funny guy. I'm a physics major and I've used what he taught in most of my classes. He's awesome.

You can always ask questions. He really knows what he's talking about and does not expect you to know proofs. He is more than fair grading at the end of the semester. His stories are really out there, but normally you can get a laugh out of them.

he has a very very stong accent and is extremely hard to understand...you cant understand anything he says or writes. He doesnt teach you and expects you to know it and then makes you look stupid in class when you dont. you are required to do at least 1 maple assignment a week that takes a lot of out of class time....I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND HIM!!!

Really funny guy once you get used to him. If you show up to class, it helps immensely. Tests are difficult but he gives you incredible oppurtunities to higher your grade. Handwriting is awful though.
