Dr. Choucair is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. She is always willing to help you with you essays and will extend deadlines if the class needs it. Yes, there is a lot of reading, but she lets you use a notecard on the quiz which allows for an easy grade. THIS WOMAN IS AMAZING!

Dr. Choucair is probably the mostlaid-back professor on campus. In class she makes the literature jump off the page, and one-on-one she makes you feel like you're talking to a peer as opposed to a Ph.D. She's wailingly liberal, which always makes for an interesting classroom experience amongst more narrow-minded students.

A great professor, but don't let her approachability be taken for a weakness. You are expected to read, being a literature class and SparkNotes will not cut it. She has high expectations for her students and is not afraid to challenge. Not a fan of much of what she had us read, but did learn a lot.

Choucair is the most approachable professor I've yet to encounter. Her intelligence & zeal for what she's teaching is only shadowed by her care for her students. Lots of reading, but she discusses it all--besides, it's an english course.
