I love Walena! I was a little scared that I would not get an A in this class, but in the end, everything worked out! And I think her hems are cute. Every time I clear my throat I think of her. If you read the chapters a couple times, make flashcards, and follow the sample paper in the book, you should get a good grade.

I don't think she's as bad as some posters make her out to be - especially if you are in a small class. I was maintaining a B average, but I think I let myself go towards the end. She is a tough grader.. But just study the book thoroughly.

you can't hear it enough: she is the worst teacher that you will ever endure. 85% of her students fail. If you are signed up with her-DROP IT. If it is the day before classes start... STILL DROP IT. She is way too old to be teaching. She wouldn't be good if she were 75 years younger. i dont have a single good thing to say about her. no one does

Isn't able to answer questions because she doesn't understand when students ask them. Insecure about answering questions, so she teaches the entire class from her seat, reading the chapters of the book out loud and making a few side notes. I asked her to write a problem out on the board bc it's math, duh - and she said no.

Walena is a lot of things that people are saying about her but she is doable. She can be nasty but she likes it if you try. I ended up pulling a B out of this course and even though it was difficult, if you try she will respect you. If you take her, take her advice and do the work before hand or you will not stand a chance.

k well walena is the worst professor in the entire world..doesnt hand back anything until you have 100 things turned in. She expects you to write 10 page essays every week practically and then in return doesnt even hand them back so you can see what you did wrong. And when you ask her she acts like she has too much work. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!

OMG-just don't do it to yourself. I hated to be an ageist, but she is too old to be teaching...she loses her place constantly, and she's kinda mean sometimes when you ask her a question. she very unclear. I failed, and I know someone who took her 3 times, and failed all times.Just don't bother, it's a waste of your time and money.

There are much better teachers out there than this one. I didn't learn anything in this class. The text was too difficult to understand. All I did was memorize formulas, and try to guess which one to use. Try Renner, she's much better!

I dislike her so much I had to write another warning. Now that I'm forced to take her AGAIN! She yelled at me cuz i noticed a misprint in the text! If you're gonna take stats, you might not have much of a choice, cuz so many people drop her class. She's that bad. DO NOT TAKE MORSE!!!

Everyone here is complaining way too much. Yes, It's a difficult class but... if you bare with her and study what she tells you to, you should do fine. Stat's not a class you can just sit back and relax on regardless of who your teachewr is. I got a B+.

Dr. Morse got some pretty bad reviews here, and with good reason. I got her for stats. She lectures straight outta the book. She's way too soft-spoken, and doesn't clarify anything at all, assuming you can comprehend her. I should've listened to my advisor. Avoid her.
