He knows physics, but doesn't know how to teach it. If you understand the theoretical aspects of physics then he's a good teacher. No numerical examples and doesn't really answer any questions.

Absolutely awful. I had physics 2 with him, and in my section, 1 person had an A, 1 person had a B, and the rest were C's, D's, and F's. Especially F's. He would spend all of lecture going over the Pythagorean theorem, and then in recitation, he would take the ENTIRE section to do 1 problem! Don't take him, you'll do a lot of work on your own.

He is the best professor I ever took a class with. Knows his subject very well and teaches without a textbook or notes. I was so much happy with his electrostatics class, that I simply sat in his special relativity class just for fun. Thats when I came to know special relativity is so simple and easy.

Worst professor i've had in all my years of schooling. I walked into that class knowing nothing, walked out of the class knowing nothing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS like everyone else has said. Exams are impossible because he doesn't teach any of the information on the exam. Avoid this professor or prepare to be repeating the class he's teaching

Your chances of learning something in this class are about the same as trying to teach a toddler rocket science. Obviously a researcher rather than a teacher. Provides useless examples (sometimes spends entire lectures trying to explain one example). There are also times when the class didn't finish all of the chapters before the exams. Avoid him!

this guy is a joke. he goes over only 1 equation and zero problems so far(semester started 2 months ago). if you ask him to go over hw problems in RECITATION, he goes "my rule is that i dont go over hw problems." plus he messed up the UTexas system now the new hw system does not even have solutions to problems therefore you will never learn anythin
