Simply the best teacher the entire program has to offer. An awesome guy and amazing prof. 335 he doesn't get much time to help but the wiki is so clear you don't really need it. Graded our final out of 20, the alternate prof graded out of 160. If you have the option, take him. I took 235 with him as well. Made me love Linux after hating it.

really nice laid back teacher if you respect him he will respect you back. but when it comes to the labs do not expect him to be logical or helpful ... twice he told me reinstall my centos 7 and back up all my images and xml files when the issue was just 1 command which needed to be executed. Most labs are straightforward but some are really bad

Murray Saul is a great prof not because he is easy but you actually learn in his class. His quizes and tests are really easy. His practical labs are easy as well. If you do all the labs you will understand how to do everything else. Great prof wish he was teaching OPS435 instead.

Great guy, knows a lot about Linux, he made all the labs so he knows it all inside and out. Practicals and midterms are too easy and he marks really fast, he had our whole classes' midterms marked and put online in a matter of 4 hours. Legendary teacher, noone is as good as him.

Amazing teacher! Down to Earth. EXTREMELY smart* Knows his stuff and is very fair with his students and understanding. The course is a lot to take in and he makes sure that the program is taught to the best of his ability. Very kind. What more can I say? Defines what a prof should be. He should be the standard.

Most lively teacher I have ever seen. Jumps around and gets excited due to scripting, lol. He will mellow down after the midterm and become more calm. Always has interesting stories to tell and he is a fair marker. Make sure to go through and understand all labs & assignments. If you copy and paste the answers, you will fail the exams. Good teacher
