one of my easiest courses this semester, he one of my favorite professors. He is really passionate during his lectures and gets really into the material, generally a nice guy. You don't necessarily have to go to class, i skipped a few times and still did well. Be aware his midterm, exam and assignments are all essays so be ready to writee

It was the hardest class of my semester. Lectures are difficult to follow as he gets sidetracked easily and his powerpoints are disorganized and confusing. There are 5 essays in this course; 2 on the midterm, 1 major essay, and 2 on the final exam that are toughly graded. He expects the essays on the exams to be written in an unrealistic time.

He is a really good professor. He makes powerpoints really interesting to listen and learn. It shows how much he cares about students and tries to make his course really easy and simple. He is a really nice approachable guy and is always in a good mood. Definitely would take again.

His lectures are amazing, you honestly dont need the textbook if you show upto class. He gets sidetracked easily during lectures and his marking is a little tough. For exams and essays you need to actually put in work if you want a good mark. I'd say this class is just slightly harder than your average bird course.

Comment:
He seems open minded in lectures but is narrow minded when it comes to marking. Do not state your political views on any work. I did well on the midterm because I just rephrased all his opinions but for my final I did not agree with him on some of his arguments and he gave me a bad grade. To do well just listen in class and accept his POV.

Lectures are fun and interesting because you can feel that he is really passionate about the material he teaches. Classes are interesting but all the exams are essay based along with a course essay. He marks unreasonably hard sometimes, so take only if you are confident in your essay skills. Overall a decent prof.

His is one of the fewest profs in Ryerson who you would actually admire. Although i am getting an 80 in the class its very easy to end up with at least an 85 if you attend lectures and jot down important points. This course was supposed to be boring but you come to class and discuss about the slides. Thats it. Nothing hard.

Absolute brilliant professor! He has an outstanding contribution to the study of Political Science. He is constantly being cited and is one of the few professors at Ryerson to really look up to. This course is so good. Just take notes on what he says in class and use it when writing essays. He is not the type of professor to mark hard for no reason

The prof is really interested in the topic and is very enthusiastic. However, he is disorganized and goes off topic which leads to him rushing through the last part of the lectures. We did not cover all the topics outlined in course syllabus because he goes off topic a lot. Also, goes over class time a lot. TA marks everything except final

prof is nice guy, lectures are extremely boring. doesn't want you using your phone and marks on attendance. course itself is boring as heck. two essays and a final (essay format) = three essays...second essay and final were marked extremely hard either by him or the G.A

He was actually a nice person, but the TA marked the essays and that cost a lot of the grade. My essay was apparently good, but many people (all?) didn't reference key facts within parentheses inside the essay itself. Footnotes aren't required, but those small references that went missing added up to lower the mark. Attend tutorials for marks.
