Myron may impress teenagers, but I've got his number. He's foul-mouthed, hasn't done any research, doesn't have a course outline, grading criteria, textbook. If you enjoy wasting your time listening to uninformed rants punctuated by dirty words, Myron's your man.

Myron is great for music students, but not so much for an Anthropology class. His Music and culture class is basically an easy elective to keep music students from stepping out of their comfort zone. Way more music than culture, catering to jazz majors. He's very knowledgeable and a really nice guy, and I would recommend him to any MUSIC student.

This is often evident when Myron takes his students questions and abruptly strays into new discussion leading to long rants that for several minutes or even the majority of the class. It is not that disagree with his thoughts, I just think time for those conversations should be spent after

One of the best teachers in music. Doesn't pick favorites, doesn't have time for ego problems. His theory and musicianship courses helped me as a functional musician more than anything else. Thanks Myron.
