Her lectures are terrible: she gets off topic and distracted easily. Forgets important terms and concepts when speaking but expects us to know her textbook inside and out. Quizzes are not graded fairly (short answer). She has three optional midterms and one final midterm, midterms are optional but final is not and exams are worth 60% of your grade.

My notes were such a mess because we'd read and study for a quiz over say Ch. 11 and then after the quiz, we'd finish lecture over Ch. 9 started from the previous class and begin Ch. 10 lecture. Study Game before exams were a joke because the students had to make the questions and everyone argued about the correct answers. I wanted to leave often.

Attendance not mandatory but participation points are given, eccentric, dresses very out there, wrote the book so very strict on what you need to know

Kubasek was very knowledgeable in the subject as she is a lawyer. However, she seems to expect you to already know the concepts she's talking about. The reading isn't hard and if you read, prepare the study questions before hand and talk in class, you will get participation credit. Her quizzes are reasonable if you STUDY. Her exams are VERY tough.

She is a nightmare. Her lectures are disorganized. Her quizzes are impossible to pass unless you know every single word from the book, which is her textbook by the way. I don't mind the online assignments, but with assignments due every class they should be worth more of your cumulative grade. Good luck if you take her. It's a miserable class.

Lots of "beating around the bush" lectures with a lot of fluff and not much substance. Guess whose textbook you have to buy for the course? Hers! Course is very reading heavy, and covers a lot of material very densely. The exams cover ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that was in class and the reading, so you can't miss a thing if you want to do well.

The other reviews are too harsh. She's not that bad, she's just very tough. A LOT of quizzes but they prepare you for the exams. A LOT of homework but it prepares you for the quizzes and lectures. Some extra credit. She's very intelligent but not always personable. She's more than willing to give extra help if you ask for it.

Very tough teacher, but overall gives the path to a good grade for those who apply themselves. Lectures are so-so. Grading is pretty stringent, but expect a curve on tests. Gives a small amount of extra credit. If you want an A, you really have to know your stuff. This class definitely provides a challenge that some may like or hate. Both for me...

This woman is the worst. for a legal studies professor, you would assume that she would be able to use proper english and grammar on her exams. however, each exam has at at least one question, to several, that make no sense. yet she expects you to be 100% accurate on her exams. she's a narcissist who cannot use english properly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Past reviews are still relevant. Very difficult class. She still often confuses herself. If you have the chance to take this class (or any other for that matter) with someone else, DO IT! She does expect everyone to know nearly everything in the book that SHE WROTE, and takes a long time in class to discuss very little.

I took LEGS online and in the summer so I'm sure she is very different in class but overall she was a fine teacher. Reading the textbook was a must. We had quizzes and homework over each chapter. The exams were kind of tough too.

Dr. Kubasek is one of my favorite professors. She expects a lot out of her students. Do all the work she gives you and show up to class and you'll do well in the class! She is very knowledgeable and very willing to help students outside of class.

Don't take this class if it's not required of you. I'm pretty sure she is the only one left teaching it since Nicholson died. Class was interesting, but the exams were basically impossible. She expects you to know the entire book and rehash it for the essays. Ridiculous. Her outfits were great though, my fav was the blazer with flames all over!

ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE! Just a terrible teacher who forgets absolutely everything. Never prepared for class and never tells you when and what to read. Expects you to know the whole book and draws no connection to the business world. Chances are shes the only one teaching it but if you have the option save yourself the headache.

Worst teacher ever! You need to know the entire book for the final and she wrote it! She doesn't give any direction as to what to study and her notes never helped! She has unrealistic expectations and to get the ex credit you have to participate everyday in class. She also never mentions business and the class is business law!!! DON'T TAKE!!!!!

WORST PROFESSOR IVE EVER HAD. This lady should not be allowed to teach. just lectures, no notes, test are hard, and is the most unorganized teacher ever. Dresses insanely. only reason i got a B was from extra credit she assigns to make up for her horrible teaching. Unless you wanna read a crap load and get tested unfairly, don't take this class.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! Although she is knowledgeable she is not at all suited to be a teacher. Reading her horribly written and expensive books are vital to passing - though you still may not. Lectures go nowhere and never appear on tests. She doesn't encourage questions. Finally the material is far too advanced for an intro class.
