We need more teachers like Nancy. She loves the literature, and that's what it's all about. The assignment where we brought in a history of "who we've been as writers" will resonate with me to my dying day.

Yeah, she's not easy. She's taught too many Grad. classes, and that's how she teaches her Undergrads too. It was great though. Pay attention, write your papers and you'll do fine. About not being available, she's ALWAYS available, IF you can think to make an appointment a few days ahead, she's busy.

A slightly better teacher than she is advisor. Completely unavailable outside of class. Has some good ideas but likes to keep students in the dark for too long. Very disorganized. Don't get on her bad side! She plays favorites. Grading is arbitrary.
